The Martians saw the bright light of Earth's explosion and decided they wanted to make a giant turtle to destroy other planets! So they began to build the giant turtle, and when it was done, they named it Carl.

They launched Carl via catapult at Jupiter. But the people Jupiter didn't even notice.

They launched Carl via rocket ship at Saturn. So Saturn got mad and stole one of Mars' moons to add to its collection.

They launched Carl via portal gun at Uranus. And now you have hemorrhoids.

Totally made that up as I went....

Lets see.....

A long time ago there was a magical turtle named Scott. Now Scott wasn't your average turtle by any stretch of the imagination. You see Scott had a purple shell with red stripes on it and had the power to read minds. Granted he was still a turtle and couldn't do much with this ability he could still do it. One day while he was swimming around in a river a small child came up to him. Curious as to what this creature was he decided to swim towards it. The child proceeded to pick him up and stare at him. And stared at him....and stare at him....and stare at him.....then he sneezed. Paused. Then stared at him some more. Scott, feeling rather uncomfortable, decided to try getting away. He did this by biting the child's hand. To which the child freaked out and threw Scott onto the ground. But before he could hit the ground Scott found out he had psychic abilities and was able to fly. When he found this out he seeked vengeance on the child for trying to kill him. So as the child was running away Scott dive bombed him and attacked his head from above. But little did Scott know that he was swimming in radioactive water which gave him the ability to shoot lasers out of his eyes and breath fire. (He also grew to the size of one of those weird little Electric Cars) So there was this GIANT flying psychic turtle breathing fire and shooting lasers out of his eyes flying above the city. The military decided to try shooting him down but Scott's shell was indestructible. As such their attempts to take him down were all for naught. Then Scott realized he was still growing. By the end of the day he was the size of a house. At the end of the week he was the size of an entire city. And by the end of the month he was the size of Asia. As we are all well aware turtles CAN NOT breath in space so as a result Scott died and his body floated in space til it reached the sun. When he hit the sun the impact was so massive that the sun flared up and destroyed Mercury and pushed all of the planets a couple feet from their normal orbit. Moving the earth directly into the path of an oncoming comet. Which struck the earth killing everyone.
